I often ask myself this question in an effort to focus the business.

The short answer is that I provide services to collectors and non-collectors aimed at making the world of the collector car a more user friendly place. The services I provide are varied, and if I can't provide what you need, I will make the effort to find you someone who can. My services include:

Appraisals: insurance, legal, information, or any other purpose you may have
Pre-purchase inspections
Buying and selling both on my account and others
Marketing of cars and related items
Writing for various publications
Courtroom testimony
Advice of all kinds (often whether you want it or not)

These are the items that come up most often, but I'm constantly being surprised with requests for things I would never have thought of. For instance, I've worked with an on-line auction company to provide a location for cars to be stored and shown to prospective buyers. I've written numerous eBay listings for car owners looking to sell their cars. I've been asked to review documentation of historic cars to render an opinion of how this documentation holds up to scrutiny. I've even provided cars for movies, advertising, and parades.
